New Year New Me…
Let me take you through what 75 Hard entails and how I’ve been fueling my body with the proper nutrition, including some incredible products that have become staples in my routine. Balancing fitness with a busy schedule has been a challenge as a chef, but I’m embracing it wholeheartedly.
What Is 75 Hard?
For those unfamiliar, the 75 Hard challenge isn’t just a fitness program; it’s a mental toughness challenge. It requires:
Two workouts a day (one outdoors, rain or shine)
Drinking one gallon of water daily
Reading 10 pages of a self-improvement book
Sticking to a diet (your choice, but no cheat meals or alcohol)
Taking a progress photo every day
It’s no joke. The physical demands are intense, and the mental discipline required is on another level. But, three weeks in, I’m already seeing changes in my body and mindset. I’ve stopped drinking, I’m working out twice a day, and I’ve noticed my energy levels have skyrocketed. I’m sleeping better, my skin is clearer, and I’m genuinely excited about what’s to come.
Nutrition: What I am taking.
RHO Nutrition
I’m always on the go, and Rho Nutrition has been a game-changer. I take Liposomal Glutathione, Liposomal NAD+, and Liposomal Curcumin + Resveratrol, and I’ve noticed a big difference. Liposomal Glutathione helps my body detox and keeps my skin looking great. Liposomal NAD+ gives me the energy and focus I need to get through busy days, plus it’s great for anti-aging. Liposomal Curcumin + Resveratrol reduces inflammation and supports my immune system. The liposomal formulas make everything super absorbable. I follow this guy, Michael Chernmow, and found out about Rho from his IG.
ISO100 Gourmet Chocolate Protein Powder
Protein is necessary for muscle repair and growth, and ISO100 Gourmet Chocolate is hands down my favorite. It’s rich and chocolatey. It tastes so so good in my smoothie.
Navitas Organic Cacao Nibs
For an extra boost of antioxidants and a little crunch, I’ve added two tablespoons of Navitas Organic Cacao Nibs to my post-workout shakes. Gives the shake nice texture.
PB Fit Organic Peanut Butter Powder
Peanut butter flavor without the added fat? PB Fit Organic Peanut Butter Powder is a game-changer for anyone looking to stay lean while indulging in that nutty goodness.
Frozen Fruit
I’m all about keeping it simple and fresh. My go-to fruits are frozen organic bananas and strawberries.
